A BOLTON-based gas safety company has celebrated 50 years of service.
BHE Services, headquartered in Radcliffe Road, Darcy Lever, was established in 1971 and has been providing gas, plumbing, central heating and electrical services to Bolton, Wigan and across the North West since.
The company was founded by Randal (Ronnie) Wilkinson, with Ronnie’s son-in-law Mike Robinson the present managing director, and Ronnie’s son Paul Wilkinson and Mike’s daughter Rachael both heavily involved in the day-to-day management of the business.
The company now has over 70 employees.
Mr Robinson said: “Our BHE family team is so proud to have reached this milestone 50th anniversary.
“Ronnie started our business with a clear goal of delivering quality central heating and electrical services to local homeowners, and this ethos is still behind everything BHE does today. We’re excited to look to the future, introducing energy-efficient technologies and keeping customers gas-safe, while retaining our commitment to unrivalled service."
