ONE new coronavirus death has been recorded at Bolton Trust, official figures show.
NHS England figures show 657 people had died in hospital at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust as of Monday evening.
That was an increase of one compared to Sunday.
It means there have been five deaths in the past week, up from two the previous week.
The victims were among 14,311 deaths recorded across the North West, which is the third-worst affected of England's seven NHS regions.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death. This means some deaths first recorded in the latest period may actually have taken place days earlier.
