GREATER Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has been sharing advice as part of Children’s Safety Week.
The service which covers Bolton and beyond has been keen to promote good safety standards around children and help them learn their importance.
Child Safety Week is an annual campaign run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) to raise awareness of the risks of child accidents and how they can be prevented.
Some tips include helping children to learn to keep electrical leads, tea towels and cloths away from a cooker, as well as not overloading sockets.
They should never be allowed to play with candles or anything else that could cause them to burn themselves.
