MAY, 1961 and a train has just pulled in to Bolton’s Trinity Street station.
There is so much to take from this photograph from the clothes - suits and ties and macs were the order of the day by the look of it; you certainly wouldn’t see anyone in jeans or a sweatshirt that’s for sure - to the architecture of Bolton’s main station.
Half way up the stairs is an advert for the Pack Horse Hotel, inviting travellers to say or dine. Wonder how many of them actually took up their offer.
