A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after being pursued by police through Bolton last night.
A silver Ford Fiesta was stole yesterday evening by way of robbery - meaning that force or threats were used by the alleged offender to obtain the vehicle.
Following a police chase, a man has been arrested and is now in custody.

A Greater Manchester Police Traffic spokesperson said: "A Ford Fiesta stolen by means of robbery on June 15 was pursued by officers in Great Lever, Bolton.
"On being abandoned on Rupert Street, the occupants were detained and one man was arrested by the officer on suspicion of robbery."
The car has since been recovered for forensic examinations.
Moments later, while traffic officers were awaiting for a recovery vehicle to collect the Ford Fiesta, officers blocked a black VolksWagen Passat, which officers say has been pursued three times in as many weeks by the force.

The driver said he was a "new keeper" of the vehicle, however, he was found to be driving without insurance or a license.
The vehicle was subsequently seized and the driver reported.
