Over 40 homes in Bolton have been left without power this morning due to a cut.
A power cut was first reported around 4am this morning off Chorley Old Road near the town centre with Electricity North West staff currently on site to deal with the issue.
A number of BL1 postcodes are effected with 44 homes left without power according to Electricity North West.
Power is estimated to be restored to these homes by 3pm.
An Electricity North West spokesman, said: "We are currently investigating the issue. We estimate to have your power restored by 15:00.
"The power cut in the area has been caused by an unexpected incident with the underground cable that provides electricity to the property."
