One person was taken to hospital this morning after a crash in Westhoughton.
A crash involving two cars happened just after 8am with one lane having to be closed a traffic queuing for over an hour.
It happened southbound on Manchester Road at Chequerbent Roundabout.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "We were called at 8.20am today to a report of a two vehicle RTC (road traffic collision)."
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed that one person involved in the crash had to be taken to hospital, however, no other details could be released.
They said: "One patient taken to hospital."
