Emergency services attended a crash between a motorbike and a car this morning, with the driver of the bike fleeing the scene.

Police were called around 9am to the crash on Long Lane, next to Leverhulme Park.

The fire and ambulance service also attended, with fire fighters making the scene safe.

The ambulance service confirmed that they treated the driver of the car at the scene, with no one needing to be taken to hospital for treatment.

However, the driver of the motorbike left the scene before emergency services arrived, according to police, with their bike being seized.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A GMP spokesman said: ""Officers were called to reports of an RTC between a car and a motorbike on Long Lane, Bolton, at about 9am on 23 June 2021.

"North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service also attended and the male car driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

"The male rider of the motorcycle left the scene and the bike seized. Enquiries are ongoing."

A NWAS spokesman said: "We attended but didn’t take anyone to hospital."
