Police caught four speeding drivers in Bolton today as part of ongoing anti-speeding operations.
The Bolton West Neighbourhood Team were out around Horwich and Westhoughton earlier today as part of Operation Portman — a clampdown on dangerous driving across Bolton.
Police say they caught four drivers speeding in this day of action, with one motorist going 45mph in a 30mph zone.
A GMP Bolton West spokesman, said: "The Bolton West Neighbourhood Team have been out today as part of Operation Portman conducting speed enforcement in Horwich and Westhoughton.
"They conducted speed enforcement on Lever Park Avenue in Horwich, Chorley New Road in Horwich and Leigh Road in Westhoughton.
"A total of four traffic offence reports were issued with the highest speed being 45 mph in a 30mph area.
"We were pleased to see that the majority of drivers were driving safely and within the speed limit."
