POLICE have recovered a stolen motorbike after it failed to stop for officers.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police attempted to stop the motorbike yesterday, although its rider failed to do so.
After two men on the bike attempted to make off on foot, they were promptly arrested.
The bike was then recovered in Smithills Dean Road.
The pair are now in custody awaiting interview.
The incident was reported on Greater Manchester Police's social media pages.
A spokesman said: "Officers from the #boltonnorth #boltonwest and d relief response have recovered this stolen motorbike on Smithills Dean Road after it failed to stop when requested by officers.
"After trying but failing to make off on foot, two males are in custody awaiting interview."
