A MAN'S body, believed to be that of a man from Bolton, has been found on a beach in Fylde after a search at sea.
Police received a call just around 3.30pm on Saturday that a man had gone into the sea close to Rossall School and had not been seen since.
Emergency services, such as police and the coastguard agency were involved in a search to find the man.

Shortly before 8.15pm, the body of a man near to where someone was reported missing was discovered.
Formal identification has not taken place yet but the person who died is thought to have been a 29-year-old man from Bolton.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We were called at 3.27pm on Saturday following reports a man had gone into the sea, close to Rossall School, Broadway, Fleetwood, and had not been seen since.
"Emergency services, including the police, HM Coastguard and NPAS, carried out a comprehensive search for him.
"Sadly, just before 8.15pm a body was discovered on the beach close to where the man was last seen.
"Although formal identification has not yet taken place, we believe it to be that of a 29-year-old man from Bolton.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and our thoughts remain with his family and friends at this extremely distressing time."
