A weather warning has been issued for Bolton and a large part of the north west with the potential for flooding.
The Met Office has issued the warning from 1pm today with heavy showers and flooding predicted until 6pm tomorrow evening.
They have warned that "heavy showers may lead to some flooding and transport disruption" as the recent period of hot weather comes to an end.
The Met Office says to expect: "Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.
"Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.
"Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely."
