Police officer dealt with Deansgate traffic in 1920s' Bolton
A policeman does his best to control the growing line of traffic heading along Bradshawgate in Bolton in 1929.
The youngster in school uniform in the back of the open tourer is clearly loving being driven around in style while behind a Ribble bus is heading off to Blackpool.
The picture was taken near to the junction with Deansgate and you can see the tram lines heading off in different directions.
