A CAR which was stolen by means of burglary has been recovered by neighbourhood police in Breightmet this evening.
Officers were conducting routine patrols on July 30 when they were called to reports of an abandoned silver Kia Ceed on Colchester Avenue.
Subsequent enquiries found that the vehicle had previously been reported stolen by its owners.
The car has since been recovered by traffic police.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson for Bolton North said: "Officers from the Breightmet neighbourhood team have responded to reports of an abandoned vehicle on Colchester Avenue.
"Enquiries show this vehicle to be an outstanding stolen via means of burglary. The vehicle has now been recovered."
