POLICE have arrested a 34-year-old man after a woman sustained life-changing injuries in a car crash in the early hours of today.
The 30-year-old woman was taken to Salford Royal, where her condition is described as stable.
The crash happened just after 2am this morning on Stopes Road Little Lever.
A black Citroen DS3 hit an unoccupied parked silver Peugeot Partner, before crashing into a wall.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The 34-year-old driver has been arrested on suspicion of serious injury by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs. He remains in custody for questioning.
Police are now appealing for information.
PC Simon Venguedasalon, of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This collision has unfortunately resulted in a woman requiring surgery in hospital for life changing injuries.
"Although it was late at night, this collision happened in a residential area, so we are hopeful that people may have witnessed the incident and have dash cam footage or CCTV footage which captures either the collision or footage of the car leading up to this collision.
"If you live in the area please do check your CCTV for around this time and if you have any information at all please do not hesitate to contact police as soon as possible."
