A number of cars were seized in a matter of hours in Bolton earlier today as part of an ongoing police operation.
Police say eight cars were seized in just three hours as part of 'Operation Considerate' — Greater Manchester Police's ongoing campaign to encourage all road users to show each other consideration.
Numerous offences were identified among drivers in the borough, leading to the cars being seized, with police yet to publish what offences the drivers committed.
A GMP Traffic spokesman said: "Operation Considerate took place this morning in GMP Bolton Centre.
"Officers from Traffic PCSO and Transport Unit carried out checks and identified numerous offences.
"Eight vehicles seized in three hours."
