Three further coronavirus deaths have been confirmed at the Royal Bolton Hospital as the number of people to have died from the virus at the site approaches 700.

This means a total of 695 people have died from coronavirus at Bolton Hospital since the start of the pandemic.

The first Covid death at the hospital was recorded on March 20 last year.

This has come as the number of Covid patients at hospital and new cases in the borough has declined.
