Today, we remember when the mini Spice Girls were performing at Crompton Place in Bolton in 1997 for the Children’s Week.
There was a lot of summer fun which made shopping a treat for kids of all ages.
Unicycling clowns, dinosaur balloons, brass band players lined up to offer entertainment alongside face painters and Sonic the Hedgehog.
The highlight of the week was an unveiling of a 10ft high dinosaur and it was made up of 2,000 balloons.
There was a punch and judy event too.
