POLICE have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the robbery of an 82-year-old man in his back garden in Bolton.
Officers were called on Saturday June 6 to an address on Ramwells Brow to reports that an 82-year-old man had been robbed of his watch and gold-rimmed glasses at knife-point at his home between 2am and 2:30am.
The man had been asleep with his wife when he was woken up by a noise outside in the early hours.
He went into the back garden to investigate, where he was confronted by an unknown man who demanded his car keys and money.
He was assaulted when he refused, threatened with a knife, and his silver SEIKO watch and prescription gold rimmed glasses were stolen, before the unknown man left the premises.
Officers have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this.
