AN Iceland employee has found fame on TikTok reviewing new products for shoppers.

Former Vine star Adam Crolla from Bolton has racked up 350,000 followers, as he not only posts product reviews for the retailer but makes funny videos on everyday life.

Adam, who goes by the username Adcro on social media, said: "I used to be on Vine back in the day but when it closed, I made a TikTok.

“I am very cheerful and like to put out things that are relatable like trying different teas and finding which biscuits are the best ones to dunk.”

Working in Horwich Iceland, Adam has got his bosses on board with his product reviews.

He said: “Iceland loved it and invited me to the head office to see new stuff coming out because they know I mention things on my TikTok.

“People know me as the funny guy from Iceland. If you can give someone a smile or a laugh during these times, then why not.”

His video on Iceland’s TGI Friday range secured two million views.

He said: “I didn't think people would be bothered but they like that sort of thing.

“People will ask me about new things now and if it’s something I like then I will review it.

His employers noticed his TikToks after they went viral and wanted him to review their Christmas range last year.

Adam said: “It was like something out of Willy Wonka being at the Iceland factory because I was seeing everything happen. I loved being there and trying out the new food range, because it felt special.”

Adam has also attended every Bolton Food and Drink Festival including the recent one.

He said: “There were a few stalls less, but it was still lovely to see us stepping into a relatively normal event again.

“I have been to the Manchester one and it’s not as good as Bolton because Manchester is full of corporate stalls. Bolton's stalls are all local shops here. I got a flapjack from a stall though and tried the new ham, chicken and leek pasty.”
