COMMUNITY champions in Horwich have handed out donations from their latest fundraising effort.
Members of the Inner Wheel Club staged a Zoom auction instead of their usual grand coffee morning.
A spokesman said: " We all made handicrafts, jams marmalades, chutneys, cakes to order and Christmas decorations.
"We had two excellent auctioneers to make the whole thing run smoothly.
"On another occasion we held a Zoom Quiz and invited Rotary members to join us, this was quite challenging but great fun."
Club president Josette Walsh has now presented £250 each to Carol Jordan, representing Bolton Dementia Support Group ,and also to Ian Simmonds, from The Bolton West Stroke Group.
