UNIVERSITY students and staff can get jabbed as a vaccination bus arrives on campus this academic year.

The bus will be outside the Chancellor’s Building, from this Thursday to the following Wednesday, September 22. and will be open to any Boltonian over 16.

Dr Helen Wall, senior officer responsible for Bolton’s vaccination programme, said: “I am pleased to see the vaccination bus having a significant presence at the University of Bolton as we still need people aged 18 and over to come forward.

“We also need people to have their second dose, eight weeks after their first, to be fully vaccinated.

The full list of regular sites in Bolton is Tonge Moor Health Centre, including people listed with Turton Primar Care Network (PCN) and Market Place Shopping Centre, including people from Rumworth PCN, Central PCN and Farnworth and Kearsley PCN.

And there is Breightmet Health Centre, Peter House Surgery, Avondale Health Centre, Horwich RMI, and Hootons Pharmacy at the Bolton Wanderers, Horwich which can be booked via the national services.
