A police team have dealt with 15 incidents on ‘very busy’ Saturday night.

Chorley police were sent to a number of incidents overnight ranging from domestic abuse to drunk and disorderly to blackmail and assault.

Sgt Tom from the team said : “Very busy Saturday night shift for the team.

“They have worked non stop for the entire shift and will be working long passed their 7am finish to complete their paperwork.

“Below is a review of what has been occurring throughout the night.

“In Leyland, a missing child was located, there was a domestic incident, a child assault and a suspicious circumstances incident.

“In Croston, a male was arrested for assault In Heath Charnock, there was a suspicious circumstances incident In Bamber Bridge, there was a domestic assault where a male was arrested

“In Clayton Le Woods, there was a Criminal Damage.

“In Buckshaw Village there was a suspicious circumstances incident and an assault involving potential weapons.

“In Chorley, there was three separate public order incidents and a male was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.

“Finally, in Farrington Moss a male was arrested for blackmail and assault.”
