ALE enthusiasts will be raising a glass to toast the return of Bolton Beer Festival.

Cancelled last year because of Covid, the huge event is back next month for its 27th event to raise money Bolton Lads and Girls club.

With drinks from the UK and around the world on offer, the festival will feature more than 200 real ales, lagers, ciders, gin, wine and Prosecco on the menu, leaving visitors spoilt for choice.

Running from Thursday, October 21 – Saturday, October 23, the festival will once again be hosted at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Due to the popularity of the event which in previous years has attracted more than 8,000 visitors each year, organisers are advising those wishing to attend to book their tickets early by visiting the Beer Festival website at www.beer-festival.co.uk.

With a variety of live music and performances, Bolton Lads & Girls Club is confident fun will be enjoyed by all attending, in a safe environment.

Kelly McFadden, head of fundraising and communications at Bolton Lads and Girls Club, said “The Beer Festival is back and we’re so excited for it’s return. In 2019 the Beer Festival raised a record breaking £53,000 for the Club, which we were absolutely over the moon with.

"It is the biggest social event in the Bolton calendar, and we are delighted that we are able to return this year, and we look forward to welcoming everyone safely to the festival. After a tough couple of years, all the money raised will go back into the core services at the club. As always, we are so grateful to everyone for the continual support we receive every year.”

Watson Laurie is the headline sponsor spot for the festival again this year.

Sponsorship packages are still available for businesses who want to be part of the event.

All funds go to Bolton Lads & Girls Club as the only beneficiary of the event.
