LANE reopened after a crash took place in the early hours of this morning.
Commuters were warned about delays this morning after an accident closed a lane on the M61 near Horwich.
Emergency repair work has taken place on the motorway barriers on M61 northbound from De Havilland Way to Millennium Way in Chorley.
Lane three was closed but is now back open.
No issues are now being reported on the stretch of carriageway.
