WANDERERS will achieve a top 10 finish in their first season back in League One, according to a supercomputer.
The Whites have made a promising start to life back in the third tier, taking 12 points from their opening eight matches.
Ian Evatt’s men are currently expected to finish in ninth place, according to football statistics website FiveThirtyEight.
The table is based on a wide range of data from the season so far and predicts that Wanderers have a 20% chance of making the play-offs.
It also states that the Whites have a 3% chance of winning the league and a 9% chance of being relegated.
The table also predicts that Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday will win promotion to the Championship, while Crewe Alexandra and Shrewsbury Town are the current favourites to go down.
