MOTORISTS are being warned St Peters Way has been closed due to a 'police incident'.
The carriageway is shut southbound between Turton Street and Folds Road.
No information regarding the incident on the A666 has been released as yet.
Transport for Greater Manchester which alerted motorists to the closure is urging drivers to use an alternative route.
