WANDERERS head to the capital to take on Nigel Adkins’ Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night (KO 7:45pm).
Ian Evatt’s’ men will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at Sunderland over the weekend.
Team news
Lloyd Isgrove is ruled out after suffering a head injury at Sunderland but the winger should be back for the weekend.
Elias Kachunga will replace Isgrove on the right flank, while Evatt has hinted he could make further changes due to the Whites’ demanding schedule.
Meanwhile, Corey Blackett-Taylor could feature for the Addicks after coming off the bench against Portsmouth at the weekend.
Opposition lowdown
Charlton finished seventh in League One last season, only missing out on a place in the play-offs on goal difference.
However, Adkins' men currently sit in 22nd place after picking up six points from their opening nine fixtures.
The Addicks enter the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Portsmouth, with Sean Clare and Josh Davison getting on the scoresheet.
Head-to-head
- Wanderers have faced Charlton 91 times in their history, with a record of 42 wins, 20 draws and 29 defeats
- Their last win in the fixture came in December 2012 when David N‘Gog bagged a brace in a 2-0 victory at the UniBol
Last meeting
The Addicks ran out 2-1 winners when the sides last met back in January 2017 despite playing most of the game with 10 men.
Lewis Page was sent off for a professional foul on Carlos Vela after 11 minutes and Zach Clough found the top corner from the resulting free kick.
However, the London club hit back through Patrick Bauer and Nathan Byrne to complete an unlikely comeback.
