Knife
A THIEF who was caught carrying a knife in Market Street, Farnworth, has been jailed for six months.
Wigan magistrates heard how Kieran McIntyre, aged 35, of Regent Walk, Farnworth, stole a debit card from Nigel Tatlock on August 4 and, the same day, was caught carrying the knife.
McIntyre pleaded guilty to theft, possessing a knife and failing to surrender to court.
He was ordered to pay his victim £100 in compensation and a restraining order was made banning him from contact or going to Moorfield Chase, Bolton.
