Woman banned from the roads after driving at 61mph on motorway
A WOMAN has been banned from the roads for six months after she was caught driving a Mercedes at 61mph on the M62 when the motorway was limited to 50mph.
The case against Deborah Lawton, aged 41, of Gladys Street, Bolton, was proved at Wigan Magistrates’ Court, where the ban was imposed due to repeat offending.
Lawton was also fined £100 plus a £34 victim surcharge.
