IAN Evatt has named his starting XI for Wanderers’ League One clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Wanderers enter the game on the back of a 4-1 win against Liverpool Under-21s in the Papa John’s Trophy on Tuesday night.

The Whites sit seventh in the league table and could climb into the play-off places with a win against the Owls.

Meanwhile, Darren Moore’s men are in 12th place after picking up 15 points from their opening 10 fixtures back in the third tier.

They recorded a 2-1 win at Mansfield Town on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Lewis Wing and Florian Kamberi.

Wanderers have faced the Owls 123 times in their history, with a record of 41 wins, 28 draws and 54 defeats.

The Whites’ last win in the fixture came in October 2017 when Sammy Ameobi and a Sam Hutchinson own goal handed them a 2-1 victory at the UniBol.
