CHILDREN and family centres across the borough could be set for a review and rebrand.
This comes with Bolton Council having proposed to rename the three main Start Well Centres in the borough as "Start Well Family Hubs", which the borough believes more accurately reflects their function.
The three board which run the centres will also be merged into a single board that will operate all across Bolton.
Currenly, the hubs work to support families from pregnancy onwards, until their children are 19 years old, or older if they have special needs.
Along with the three main centres, the main address being on Shaw Street, there are 17 smaller centres located across the borough which will be effected.
The plans are open for consultation until October 19 2021.
