A number of road closures are due to begin across Bolton as works take place.
Lee Lane in Horwich will be closed for approximately one day on October 27 as Highway maintenance works begin.
The road closure will be between the hours of 8am and 4pm, and will implement a one-way traffic restriction on Lee Lane from Chorley New Road to Hope Street.
An alternative route will be via Winter Hey Lane.
Another road closure in Bolton will be Palatine Street for approximately four weeks from October 18 as demolition works take place.
The closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Palatine Street, from Central St to Ridgeway Gates to enable demolition works to take place.
An alternate Route for traffic will be via Deansgate.
The council apologises for any inconvenience the closures may cause and are asking residents to present their recycling at the nearest accessible point to ensure that bins can be emptied.
