Two people were arrested after police pursued a stolen Audi down the motorway.
Officers spotted the Audi S7, which had been stolen from Nelson, on the M60 on Saturday night.
Police from Greater Manchester pursued the vehicle along the M60 and onto the M61, where they were joined by officers from Lancashire.
The car was followed into Blackburn where police finally brought it to a stop.
Two people were arrested.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This stolen Audi S7 was spotted on the M60 by XTS8 having been taken from the Nelson area earlier.
"Followed by GMP RPU patrols along the M61 and joined by Lancashire Road Police where the vehicle was stopped in Blackburn.
"Two arrested."
