THREE teenage boys have been arrested after another boy was assaulted outside Bolton College yesterday.
The victim was left with head injuries and had to be taken to hospital after being attacked by a group of male youths on Wellington Street just outside Bolton College on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the scene at around 11.30am yesterday and have now reported that they have made three arrests in connection with the crime.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries have established that the victim was attacked by a group of males.
"Three teenage boys, one aged 16 and two 17 have since been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and violent disorder.
"They been released on bail and enquiries are ongoing."
The victim's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives are still investigating the incident and have said that anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 1194 of 19/10/2021.
