MEMBERS of the Trafalgar Day Society based at the House Without a Name in Harwood are today celebrating Admiral Nelson’s 1805 victory over the combined French and Spanish fleets.
The society has been going for 32 years.
Organiser John Loftus said: “Trafalgar 2021 was a great success after a year off for Covid last year. The gentlemen have had a great time celebrating Nelson’s victory”
Members enjoyed breakfast The Crofters before calling at various pubs in the area.
Hot lunch was served at the Waggon and Horses and it was back to the 'No Name' for pie and peas at 6.30pm.
Members have previously visited Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory where they received the VIP treatment with the ship to themselves and dined beneath Nelson’s cabin.
