FINAL scenes from the drama serial Red Rose have been filmed in Bolton today.
As revealed by The Bolton News, Eleven Films were shooting the 'tense finale' to the BBC horror in Le Mans Crescent.
Location directors had warned shoppers not to be alarmed as cast members burst of the old courthouse.
Imitation firearms were also in use on the set, with a police advisor on hand, according to the crew.
Several backdrops have been used by film crews over the past few months for the drama, penned by Bolton writers Michael and Paul Clarkson. The plot centres on teen friends and a sinister app.
Scenes have been shot in the town centre, Farnworth and Kearsley and on the West Pennine Moors.
