A man has been arrested with three taken to hospital after a car came off a major road and hit a tree this morning.
Emergency services were called to Ringley Road West, between Radcliffe and Kearsley, around 11am to reports of a collision involving one vehicle.
Three people were taken to hospital after the vehicle came off the road and collided with a tree and a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving, police said.
The crash caused the road to be closed in both directions between Elm Avenue and Wood Street with heavy traffic in the area for some time.
Two Vision Bus routes also had to be diverted.

A GMP spokesman said: "Police were called just after 11am today (30 October) to a report of a collision involving one vehicle on Ringley Road West in Radcliffe. The vehicle had come off the road and collided with a tree.
"Emergency services attended and three people were taken to hospital. The driver - a man aged 20 - was arrested on suspicion of drug driving offences and enquiries are ongoing."
A Transport for Greater Manchester post said: "Road closed. A667 Ringley Road West is closed between Elm Avenueand Wood Street.
"This is due to a Police Incident. Please seek an alternative route. Local bus services Vision Bus are on diversion."
