AN old favourite is set to grace the stage of the Theatre Royal in Ramsbottom this week.
The Railway Children is the next production by Summerseat Players, with a preview on Thursday and the debut on Friday.
Elizabeth Dunn, the director, said: "It is always a little nerve wracking taking on a well-loved classic, but Mike Kelly’s delightful script and the wonderful cast I have managed to assemble really have taken all the nerves away. I cannot praise my cast members enough for their unfailing enthusiasm."
Rehearsals for the E. Nesbit classic have been ongoing for the past six weeks. A matinee and evening show takes place on Saturday, before a run from Monday until Saturday, November 13.
