AN OPPORTUNITY for job seekers to look for an array of new openings will be coming to Bolton town centre next week.

The Bolton Job Fair will be held at the Albert Halls on Thursday November 11, with organisers saying they will be welcoming people looking for work, careers advise and employment training.

A range of stalls will be in place, giving job seekers and students the chance to talk directly with employers.

Deputy Leader of Bolton Council Cllr Hilary Fairclough said: "Events like this support the council’s commitment to increasing employment and job opportunities in Bolton."

She added: "The job fair is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for work, wanting to retrain or seeking advice to support their career prospects."

The event will be hosted by Business Bolton which, in partnership with the job centre, for local employers currently recruiting into permanent entry positions and seasonal roles.

Employers with vacancies in food and drink, customers service, hospitality, cleaning and care have been invited to attend.

Bolton Council says that there will be a wide range of jobs, apprenticeships and traineeships on offer, many with an immediate start date, both full and part-time jobs.

Anyone looking for work will not need to register, they will simply need to call in on the day and bring copies of their CV.

Employers interested in attending can email businessbolton@bolton.gov.uk to book a place.
