Bolton council is inviting residents and stakeholders to have their say on new plans to support domestic abuse victims.
The council has been working in partnership with the Local Domestic Abuse Partnership Board to produce a draft strategy which will give victims access to safe accommodation.
The strategy aims to ensure that victims have access support services from safe accommodation, as well as supporting children and young people.
Executive Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, Cllr Susan Baines, said: "Domestic violence is an abhorrent crime which devastates families and can have a lasting impact on the lives of victims.
"In Bolton, we already work closely with partners to ensure victims of domestic violence have access to safe accommodation.
"This draft strategy sets out our plans to build on this work, and the consultation feedback will help make sure we are focusing on the right priorities."
To view the strategy and take part in the survey, visit the consultation page of the Bolton Council website, https://www.bolton.gov.uk/directory/13/consultations/category/195
The survey opens on November 9 and will run until November 30.
