HEALTH chiefs have issued a reminder that 12 to 15-year-olds can attend walk-in vaccination centres in Bolton.
Current guidance states one dose should be given to people in this age category without underlying health conditions.
Walk-in centres are open at Horwich RMI, Hootons Pharmacy, the Market Place Shopping Centre and the Breightmet Health Centre.
As well as this people sent a letter from NHS England advising they are entitled to a third dose are encouraged to come forward eight weeks from their second dose.
Dr Helen Wall, who is leading the vaccination campaign in Bolton, said: “We would still like to encourage anyone who is not fully vaccinated to take the opportunity to get their first or second dose vaccines now.
“These people need to attend one of the walk-in sites or book via the national booking system at www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or call 119. It really is never too late.”
People have problems accessing the vaccine can call 01204 462125 weekdays.
