THE countdown is on until Pudsey bear hits our screens tonight for Children in Need.
So it prompted us to delve back into our archives and find great photographs of people around Bolton doing their best to raise some cash for the good cause.
Among the photographs featured show staff from Hampson bakery in Bolton carrying a 32kg bag of flour from Bolton to Blackpool.
Another sad one, is that Debenhams store staff doing a fancy dress fundraiser back from 2006.
One of the most popular kinds of fundraiser was a swimathon in years gone by and as you can see in the photo there was lots of fun at Farnworth pool in 1988.
Then a pink elephant at Bolton Metropolitan College in 1991 caused a stir helping students raise £783.39 in 1991.
n We want to find out about your antics for Children in Need this week so send your photographs to robert.kelly@nqnw.co.uk
