A CHAI cafe has had a successful opening with queues of people flocking to the shop.

Cha Cha Chai in Wigan Road, Bolton, launched on Saturday with free tea and doughnuts.

The shop is run by financial advisor Waqas Ibrahim along with his family.

He said: “What an absolute amazing evening!

“There were plenty of teas and doughnuts available for everyone, and the outcome was phenomenal.

“We humbly thank the great support received from the community as they patiently waited to come in.”

The opening was a success for the new cafe and the team hope to continue delivering great service.

Mr Ibrahim said: “A massive thank you to everyone and all our community once again from the Cha Cha Chai team.

“We wanted to give something back to the community. The turnout we had over exceeded our expectations.

“We were accommodating tea and doughnuts throughout the evening for everyone.”

There were queues of over 100 of people excited to try the tea and doughnuts.

Mr Ibrahim said: “The community have really shown their support with this and we are grateful for a beautiful evening.”

The cafe also sells snacks such as samosa chaat and other hot drinks like chai latte and pink tea.
