Wearish Lane in Westhoughton will be closed on December 10, stopping all traffic from proceeding along the road from Shearwater Drive to Hindley Road while works to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the resurfacing works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point, so they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
