NEIGHBOURHOOD police officers took to the roads to crackdown on speeding in Breightmet this week.
Road targeted included Bury Road and Stitch-Mi-Lane.
Officers from Bolton North neighbourhood team conduced the speed enforcement exercise as part of the ongoing Operation Portman.
A spokesman for GMP Bolton North said: "As part of this operation, officers attended Stitch-Mi-Lane and Bury Road. A number of traffic offence reports were issued."
Operation Portman was launched a year ago in response to speeding concerns and has been hailed a success in reducing serious injuries on the roads.
