A MAN has died after being found collapsed with head and chest injuries.
Police were called to a back street yesterday afternoon to what they described was a medical emergency.
Part of Hilden Street was cordoned off as officers and paramedics attended.
Today police have confirmed that a 39-yearold man has died and investigations into the death are continuing.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers were called at about 2pm on Friday 26 November after a man was found unconscious behind Hilden Street, Bolton.
"The man, aged 39, was treated at the scene for head and chest injuries and taken to hospital, where he sadly died.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the man's death."
Eye witnesses reported seeing two ambulances, five police cars and a large number of officers.
