Two males have been arrested and are currently in custody awaiting interview after officers from Greater Manchester Police Bolton West conducted a stop and search of a vehicle and the occupants yesterday.
Whilst out on patrol, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle on Back Chorley Old Road, Bolton.
The officers approached the vehicle, preventing it from moving off before they conducted a stop and search of the vehicle and occupants.
On the GMP Bolton West social media, a spokesperson said: "During the search, officers recovered over 100 wraps of drugs, believed to be a mixture of crack cocaine and heroin.
"In addition, the car also contained a kitchen knife and baseball bat.
"Two males have been arrested and currently in custody awaiting interview."
