A 20-year-old male has been charged following the theft of a vehicle in Bury.
On Friday evening, officers from Farnworth Neighbourhood Team located a Skoda Octavia on Cartmel Crescent in Tonge Moor, which had been stolen from Bury on November 20.
Following an investigation by Bolton's Acquisitive Crime Team, a 20-year-old male was arrested in relation to the theft of this vehicle.
Yesterday, Leon Worsley of Le Gendre Street, Tonge Moor, was charged with four offences.
These were taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and breach of bail.
Leon Worsley has been remanded in custody, to appear at Wigan Magistrates' Court on Monday 29th November 2021.
