FLASHBACK: Santa meets visitors to the Farnworth Christmas Lights Switch On in 2018
AN array of entertainment has been lined up for Farnworth's Christmas lights switch-on.
The ceremony will take place outside Home Bargains, in Market Street, on Thursday, with the fun starting at 3.30pm and going on until 7.30pm..
Kearsley Youth Brass Band will provide an accompaniment, to the festivities, with a school choir and dance acts lined up to promote some yuletide cheer.
The 'Christmas Crackers' street performers will also take a turn and youngsters will have the chance to meet Santa from 6.15pm, according to the organisers.
The Well Pop-Up Coffee Shop will be there, alongside a host of stalls, with several community groups also represented.
